GlamRacing getting ready for the 24h of Nürburgring
Everyone at GlamRacing is slowly but steady getting ready for the 24h of Nürburgring. Doing both single practice and group practice sessions. We are checking the gear, such as rigs, computers, and steering wheels, and swapping out what’s needed to get the rigs and computers in peak conditions.
We are currently looking into getting some extra drivers on the team for the 24-hour races, so the drivers can relax a bit more and enjoy the races both on and off the track more. So stay tuned on the GlamRacing Facebook page for the announcement.
In the spring break between races, we will also be looking into updating or totally getting a new skin for the Aston Martin Vantage GT3, but still keeping the iconic GlamRacing colour “Purplely Pink”. We know that people either love or hate the car, but as long as it gets some airtime and gets people talking, we are happy.
So far, the driver line for the 24h of Nürburgring is Calum Wilson (GB), Lee Russell (GB), Jef Vannijlen (B) and Henrik Hoier (DK). This lineup has been great so far with a positive atmosphere around the team. The drivers can be both serious and focused when it’s needed, but also have the confidence to joke around and have fun.
We can’t wait to see what the next couple of races have in store for GlamRacing. But so far the total result after 3 races is 5th place in the championship with 39 points, with only 2 points up to the 4th place. In every race so far, we have gotten taken 4th place, so we are hoping for our first podium of the season to come soon.
