What a Qualifying session at Monza!

That was tremendous entertainment from the very first get-go. Maybe it was the impending thundershowers that seemed to always loom in the area right from the very beginning of Q1? Maybe it was just a band of 12 awesome teams — who gave it all? The 2 Qualifying sessions did not disappoint and gave everybody the needed entertainment, action, and stories. Today’s Top 5 teams in GT3 were 33 Mugen Simracing, 64 Satellite Racing, 74 Deuces MotorSports Club, 23 GSRTeam Mclaren, and 51 Ramada MotorSport. The lineup should supposedly have been different in the GT3 field — but due to the 65 cars ran out of fuel — they told the 64 Satellite Racing car to push it in the pits — which aren’t allowed. The 65 Satellite Racing then got penalized with 5 sec time penalty and was moved to the last position in the Gt3 field of cars. Team Viadukten Ducklings consisting of 12-year-old drivers will also take part in the race in their GT4 car as a test for the upcoming season in EEWC in the two remaining races at Spa Francorchamps and LeMans.
